Two-thirds of Americans believe that Ouija boards are dangerous

65% of Americans believe in the potential dangers of using a Ouija board, according to a collection of statistics on belief in the paranormal compiled by LiveScience.

Furthermore, Gallup polling indicates that 73% of Americans believe in at least some kind of paranormal phenomenon, with most of those (41%) believing in ESP. Slightly fewer Americans (37%) believe in haunted houses, as do a similar number of Britons (40%). Canadians are somewhat more rational on this point, with only 28%.
